As the name suggests, this pendant lamp is inspired by the Bodhi Tree (Banyan Tree) of enlightenment. The shade is created by an arrangement of embroidered yokes inspired by traditional Tibetan prayer flags, whereas the hanging white ropes appear as stalactite roots of a banyan tree. This piece is completely handmade and fabricated by a women's self help group from a small village in Haryana.
